What tyre size do you require?
The exact size of a tyre can be found on its sidewall.
The following chart shows you how to read a tyre size.
1. Overall tire width in mm
2. Ratio of tire height to tire width in%
3. Tire design: ''R'' = radial tires (widely used), ''D'' or ''-'' = diagonal tires (rare)
4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

I&#39;ve been riding 39 years, Still lovin it &amp; still pulling the trigger. If a K1600 bangs past you It&#39;s probably me and wife. The tyres have been great over almost 3000km this summer in UK &amp; ireland (a lot of 2-up with luggage) with no sign of flatfacing yet. We will see how long they last .The best we&#39;ve had so far on our BMW tourer. &quot;pricey but nicey&quot;

This tyre is amazing, it provides dry and wet grip in abundance. It provides a wear consistentancy through the tyres life that drops very little. I also trackday this tyre and its calmness and predictability at the limit is great. I haven&rsquo;t found an all round tyre to match it yet.

Banking right over, this tyre gives great confidence. Got the stronger side walled tyre for my heavy 630lb BMW K bike Angel GT is super sticky! Would definitely buy again.

Best tire by miles in the wet, confidence inspiring, good feedback, and even if it does let go, it does it progressively and smoothly. Doesn&#39;t deal with ice and/or snow as good as they look they would, but they will get you through it, just. better than others still. In the dry, it&#39;s quite possibly the worst. Handlebars vibrate quite a bit at speeds(only in dry), at 90+mph speeds all confidence is lost, somehow it provides less feedback in the dry as well. I personally use these tires from Oct to April, then swap it to normal tires, this way I have grip all year round.

I have been using Michelin roads since road 2. Simply the best wet weather and all round grip everywhere tire. The only, not really a problem, was they changed the shape/smile of the front trye on road 4&#39;s and later I was riding a Bell Ulysses and found my new 4 just sat &quot;higher&quot; and the chicken strip on the front went from almost nothing to half an inch and the Buell just did not turn into a corner like it should do so swapped the 120/70 for a 120/60 and the handling came back and the chicken strip disappeared. Bought the 120/60 version with the road 5 &amp; 6 for the same reason My bikes were 1988 &amp; 1989 Vfr750 and 2003 NT650v Deauville. My riding style is fast into corners so front end grip/control is very important for me. My old saying is &quot;Straight lines are for wimps that can&#39;t handle corners&quot; &#x1F60E;
