23.09.2024 from Kate L
Excellent driving experience on these tyres. They feel safe, sturdy and solid on the road in heat, heavy rain, slippery roads due to mud, country roads, uneven and good surfaces, I have not yet tried in snow or ice. To any walkers reading this, they feel like vibram soles for my car!
07.08.2024 from peter andrews
tyres only have well below normal 6.5mm tread from new and mine were worn down to 4.1 mm tread after 400 miles plus one developed a bulge. Worst tyres ever only have perhaps 1 years life

These tyres are good for grip and average for comfort, but let down on noise levels.

09.05.2014 from Gerry
I don't drive the car hard but even so these tyres have lasted a long time with even wear and still at least 4mm left after 15k. I would prefer more comfort but this is probably due to the 18 inch wheels and not the tyres. They do tramline a bit but I cannot compare to any other brand.
30.11.2011 from Keith Farrow
capable, but for the price there are far better tyres out there. Had PS2's and Conti's before, both gave much sharper handling. The P Zeros seem to wander, and tramline a lot.

First 15.000 kms tyre is fine, good grip on dry, very good comfort. grip in snow is worthless. braking in wet conditions deteriorates fast after 15.000 kms. at 30.000 kms (and this is for the second time) all 4 tyres (I have FWD, and did not swap front/after) are deformed. driving between 90kmh and 140kmh gives knocking sound. Drinving 105-110kmh makes car shake. Pirelli already changed me 4 tyres and I got 2 for free because of this problem. Now I'm 32.000kms futher and it's the same problem all over again. I am not a sporty driver, and it's too bad I did not know this site earlier. I would never hace let pirelli put me 4 new tyres. Even at 2 for free it's expensive per km.

Used purely as a track tyre. Super focused, brilliant feedback in all conditions. Really competent in the wet as they give huge amounts of feedback and never just go, even when there’s standing water on track. Wear is pretty good, I’ve done 3 hard track days, one of them being bone dry and they’ve held up well. Rears are in great condition and expect they’ll last multiple days out. Fronts should do several more days out before changing.

16.12.2025 from Edward Nunn
these are on my track/fun car and replaced the 20 year old tyres on it which came with the car, they completely changed the performance of the car, for the better, they grip exceptionally, especially when set to optimum pressure for the conditions, and hold traction under very heavy braking. They are as described a dry weather tyre with the ability to just about cope in the wet, and my experience is of dry track days with a very wet drive cross country the day before a track day which was ok, although i could feel a massive loss in traction crossing white lines on the motorway, and the morning before a track day driving through wet cool lanes which required a huge amount of care and attention not to end up in a hedge.

With more than 80 years of experience as a European tyre manufacturer and continuous development in the most modern development centers, Viking stands for a product developed with the latest top technology. Under Continental's leadership, the manufacturer has further expanded its position on the world market, continuing to offer high-performance tyres suitable even for the most demanding motorists.

Internationally Significant Brand

The brand name Viking is based on the Vikings and suggests maximum mobility. The summer tyres correspond to that with their low wear and fuel consumption. Due to the tyres’ innovative profile, they also have a good grip on dry and wet roads. Viking summer tyres are available in three different models with the CityTech II being one of the most popular ones on the market. Its profile makes it equally strong on dry as well as on the wet roads. Its low rolling resistance makes it a quite representative of its kind and its fuel consumption is also relatively low.

The Viking brand acquires international significance. There are also numerous supplies of original equipment for the main European car manufacturers such as Opel, Volkswagen, Ford and Volvo which, by adopting the Viking tyres, underline the high-quality of the brand. Therefore, Viking summer tyres are a good choice for all motorists who want to shop at low prices but do not want to renounce high-quality standards of a brand name. Take advantage of the large offer is all available sizes at Tyres-Outlet.ie today and pinch pennies by ordering online.
