Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Fitted to the vehicle already when purchased.. They are an adequate budget tyre for perhaps city driving however they are poor in the wet. Lack any feedback in more active driving and in the wet have poor grip and braking performance with significant understeer in even damp conditions with even slightly &#39;active&#39; driving. I&#39;ve removed them off the car half worn and replaced with a premium brand as I&#39;m not comfortable with their performance on mainly wet UK roads.

I bought these tires as a cheaper alternative to a Continental tire, because the grip in wet conditions was rated excellent. That seems to be true. This type of tire is designed for lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy - often that comes with lower wet grip. Not in this case.

In comparison to other Hankook tyre types i&#39;ve used over the years these were terrible verging on dangerous in respect to grip whilst breaking in all conditions. I have removed these tyres and reverted to the part worns previously fitted. There is something very wrong with the compound of these tyres.

Fitted to a 1978 Dolomite Sprint for a European endurance run. Great grip and braking - very confident drive through the Alps and on some of those crazy European motorway interchanges with tight turns. Very pleased with these tyres and will busy again for this vehicle and the modern!

Excellent all-round tyre except for tyre wear. Comparable to Michelin in performance, but it won't last nearly as long, so unless you are worried about punctures, might be worth buying Michelin.

The biggest problem with these tyres ar that they do not have rip protection. I have been using Hancooks on my previous car, so when looking for tyres for my current car, Hancooks came to mind. I had a better driving experience with the tyres that I replaced.

These tyres give a superb quiet ride. I also have these tyres fitted to the front of my vehicle, which have now completed 45,000 km and the wear is every bit as good as the Michelin tyres they replaced. Although I do not drive in an aggressive manner I have not noticed any detriment in road holding or fuel consumption.

Have use these tyres from 15k to 33k km (car had they when I bought it. By the time I got them, they were about one third used. Dry grip fine, wet grip for cornering, braking and traction not good at all. Because of the hard rubber though, I think they will last till at least 40k km. Wear is even, balance is maintained and tyres are still quiet at 33k km. My main issue is horrible bump thump and shock adsorption of sharper road imperfections, like speed control strips and potholes where the tyres feel like they are made up of almost solid rubber. Had resorted to running them 10 percent under recommended pressure just to live with them in this respect. Recently rode in a same car year/ model as mine running non-RFT tyres and the shock absorption capabilities are as different as night and day. Car feels like it actually has air in the tyres, not solid rubber! Will be fitting non-RFT tyres to my car soon.

Before i used different brands also michelin, continental, nexen, fulda, dunlop, waterfall, petlas. But this tyre is the best in price and performance. It is better than most premium brands in breaking on wet ground i have ever seen before. I also like to drive fast in corners. This tire gives me security even at over 200 km/h. It never slips and gives me a good feeling in every position. The consumption is great too. The consumption is high on the tire label, but is not noticeable in any way. I would buy this tyre again.
