make a test. swich off the engine, windows down, let the car roll and just listen this incredible tyre sound... the worst tyres i had ever. (the noise starts at about 5km/hr).

The most expensive conti's I've ever purchased (x4) Ouch!! I've bought a lot of other conti's in the past. Inc Sportcontact & Uniroyal tyres. Ecocontact5 are noisy, very average grip levels in wet & dry conditions. Poor wear levels for a so called eco tyre :-( Neither do I like the feel of them during cornering. I will not buy these budget/mid range level tyres again. I really don't have anything positive to say about these tyres. Apart from when I'm going to change them. Buy another mid range tyre instead or even a budget & save money ;-)

Excellent driving experience on these tyres. They feel safe, sturdy and solid on the road in heat, heavy rain, slippery roads due to mud, country roads, uneven and good surfaces, I have not yet tried in snow or ice. To any walkers reading this, they feel like vibram soles for my car!
07.08.2024 from peter andrews
tyres only have well below normal 6.5mm tread from new and mine were worn down to 4.1 mm tread after 400 miles plus one developed a bulge. Worst tyres ever only have perhaps 1 years life

These tyres are good for grip and average for comfort, but let down on noise levels.

Summer Tyres 175/65 R14 – Mid-range Domination

Out of the many different sizes of tyres, summer tyres 175/65 R14 are suited to a wide assemblage of makes and models. They are mainly used on utility, compact, sedan and sports vehicles, as well as on minivans and vans. Some of the car models that these tyres match include the Ford Fiesta, the Daihatsu Applause, the Ford Ka, the Honda Civic and CR-X, the Hyundai Elantra, the Kia Rio, the Nissan Pulsar and the Mazda 2. Depending on the quality you are looking for the 175/65 R14 tyre price will differ.

In the German’s test body ADAC 2018 Summer Tyre Test the mid-range dominated. Among fourteen tested summer tyres in the size of 175/65 R14 Falken with its Sincera SN832 Ecorun model impressively won the test with a very balanced overall performance. The Semperit Comfort Life 2, brand owned by Continental ended up second due to its excellent wet performance. Proving to own a well-balanced tyre the premium tyre manufacturer Dunlop finished at the third-place with its StreetResponse 2 model.

Before making a final decision, ensure that tyres you want to buy have the following proprieties: high mileages, all-around performance, resistance to damage and low rolling resistance which leads to lower fuel consumption. These tyres should mainly be suitable for city driving.

At Tyres-Outlet.ie you will find 175/65 R14 summer tyres from Michelin, Continental, Star Performer, Hankook, Nankang and much more without breaking the bank. If you need eye-catching alloy rims to go with your new set of tyres, check our complete wheel and tyre package offer.
