Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Regularly drive in UK and Europe, both South and North, therefore need tyres h that can cope with a wide variety of road and weajther conditions. No practical time to change tyres one day dry roads, next day snow and ice, especially off-road where may go from abrasive tarmac to wet slippery clay slopes. I expect a 4 x4 to be able to cope with most conditoins and not get stuck, the tyrpes transfer the power and direction to the surface and these tyres are the best I have used for traction, wear, noise overall and dont add to the roll of the vehicle thanks to the wall strength. I will stick to these tyres all year round.

I&#39;ve had no problems with these tyres,they have performed perfectly on snow and ice,also wet and dry conditions no problems.they are not to noisy either,I can recommend these for a Land Cruiser

Not had snow but previous experience with these tyre on Nissan X trail was very good . I have used Nokian tyres for a number of years on several vehicles and found them to be the best performers I&#39;ve ever had. 45000 miles on front axle in X trail , fantastic!

Amazing tyres, grip is excellent, comfort and noise are excellent. the only thing i can fault is that the wear isn&#39;t anything special. Down to 4mm after 6000 miles. My tyre size is 245/35R18 but tyretest will not let me add the correct size above.

Excellent tyres chosen via the reviews by Jon @ tyrereviews.co.uk - they faired very well against the likes of the Michelin PS5s and at the time of buying (Feb2023) the Goodyears were &pound;250 cheaper than the PS5s; but more or less neck &amp; neck with them in the tyre review! That swung the decision for me, more so with the money saving!

Car Driven : BMW 425D 225Hp . Quite quietly from the start until the first 10,000 km they kept a relatively low noise level until the end of their lives. Relatively comfortable especially considering that is a runflat tire. The tire tread still retains its original groove and design but has significant wear points on both edge and there are some small tire detachments. In the few rains we have in Greece it never had a hadling problem or breaking and did not create any feeling of insecurity. in short it is a good quiet tire ROF tire, comfortable and efficient in fast driving.

These tyres were original equipment fitted by Land rover, for the nine year's i have owned the vehicle,I have used this model of tyre. They have never let us down and perform well in snow, rain or sun shine. The only down side being the cost.

From starting point it&#39;s average, braking on snow is very long, you need calculate the distance from another car. When turning, it&#39;s horrible, because the car slides to another direction. You need to turn so slow, instead of crashing. Don&#39;t recommend.

These are as close to perfect summer tyres that I have come across in more than 50+ years of spirited driving. Wet grip is of great importance, and these tyres are actually AO, which I always purchase, as I understand that grip was paramount in AUDIs requirements. The car is a modified 25th Anniversary model and is fitted with SACHS Race Engineering Coil-Over suspension. The cylinder head has been ported and polished with the motor now producing well over 200 ps.

Car had 20&quot; 245/35r20 runflats in front and 275/30r20 runflats (all MOE) for RWD w213 luxury saloon. The car came with these factory fitted MOE runflat tyres. I&#39;ve Replaced these tyres and wheels at 10600km. I&#39;ve driven 8600km of that mileage. The tyres wore like rubber bands on the 20&quot; wheels. Steering as a result is very precise in both wet and dry. Front 245/30s have sound deadening foam and overall tyre noise is quiet in the cabin (but just wee bit louder than the 18&quot; PS4 tyres I replaced them with). Ride comfort is 8/10 on highways due to air suspension. On chip seal, speed humps, potholed roads ride comfort is 5/10 - there is very abrupt jarring transmitted to cabin due to tyre profile and rims. Wet grip in cold (5&#39;C) and damp country highways was 7/10 at 110km/h speeds - there was some slip noticeable. Dry grip was 8/10 most of the time but with occasional rear traction slips at highway speeds in curves. This combination of tyres and rims is quite poor for a luxury sedan and compliant rides.

I bought these as they rated well performing across the board. Not top in anything but above everything that was top in at least one area. The wet grip and braking is fantastic. Performed well throughout the cold months but we had no snow this year to test them. On warm dry roads the compound or pattern does not allow for an aggressive driving style but I never intended to keep them on in the summer so this was irrelevant to me. They make a noise like driving through standing water in the wet which is strange at first but I wouldn&#39;t say generally they were any noisier than my Eagle asymmetric 2 that they replaced. Did everything I expected from them and will be re fitting them come the winter.
