Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

The tyres are very comfortable thanks to their very soft side walls. The noise was very low when new, now slowly raises but still okay. The handling is not very good, but it is a suv, so I don&#39;t mind. The wet performance could be better. But: the tire costs half the price of any other tyre for CR-V and doesn&#39;t fail in any aspect.

From starting point it&#39;s average, braking on snow is very long, you need calculate the distance from another car. When turning, it&#39;s horrible, because the car slides to another direction. You need to turn so slow, instead of crashing. Don&#39;t recommend.

I&#39;m a taxi driver out in rural Essex, I drive on all types of roads including Motorways, A roads, B roads, all types of country lanes, farms, you name it I go on it. the tyres have to put up with a lot of stressful driving conditions and the have coped brilliantly and no signs of wear yet. Michelin are the best tyre I&#39;ve used. Also I use 235XL for xtra grip, and my car is a Galaxy Titanium 7 seater 17inch wheel.

My style of driving consist of response driving to towing a caravan and leisure driving so I do quite a wide variety. I use winter tyres all year round they are better on wet surfaces don&#39;t last as long but give you more confidence in cornering, braking and when you encounter deep puddles. Has we do in the country with all the pot holes my wife used them all year to. In winter i do carry snow chains but have not used them.
